From KARL GNASS In the classroom we practice clear procedures and exercises for developing the craft of figure drawing. And, though this sketchbook is not a tutorial of such aim, the phases herein have been said to students grappling with the little things that nip at all our heels as we press forward toward understanding. Also, between these pages are drawings done on sheets of various types and sizes of paper. Although they have mostly been done in the public arena of the classroom, they clearly represent my personal interests and are a direct testament of my response to the human subject. |
